Abstract
This research proposes a cooperative optimal bus control strategy for single-route buses under the intelligent and connected environment. Based on the combination of departure headway optimization strategy, adaptive stop control strategy, and real-time speed control strategy, a bus cooperative optimization model under the intelligent and connected environment is established. The Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithms-II and Differential Evolution algorithm (NSGA II-DE) are designed for optimization solutions. The simulation results show that the model not only improves the uniformity of bus arrival time and reduces the deviation of headway time but also improves the bus operation speed and efficiency, which has significant effects on enhancing the stability of the bus system and improving the operational health of the buses. The method has important application value for establishing an intelligent bus control system under the intelligent and connected environment.
