Abstract
To address the schedule coordination challenges caused by spatiotemporal fluctuations in urban rail transit passenger flow, this research proposes an adjacent time-domain timetable resilience optimization method based on the FSAE-TTD algorithm. By establishing a multi-dimensional coupling model integrating train operations, turnaround activities, and depot processes, we systematically analyze the influence mechanisms of terminal station layouts and depot configurations on temporal connectivity. For solving the high-dimensional nonlinear optimization problem, an efficient FSAE-TTD solution algorithm is designed to achieve global optimization under complex constraints. Using Beijing’s Changping Line as a case study, the proposed method demonstrates superior performance in reducing operational costs and improving computational efficiency. The findings provide theoretical support for timetable optimization in scenarios involving multiple routing plans and depots, with engineering applicability having been validated across several urban rail transit lines in China.
